*$80 per term (8 weeks) or $12 per class (casual)

*Conditions of eight-week block payment:

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BEGINNERS
Lauren provides detailed instruction on a belly dance combination involving arm and hip movements.

In classes, you will learn how to move your hips to exotic belly dance rhythms. Beginner classes focus on correct alignment, posture, isolation of muscles and form, with detailed and individual instruction provided. No previous dance experience is necessary. Learn something new and fun every week!

INTERMEDIATE

This is the perfect class for those of you who have either attended Lauren’s beginner classes or have been belly dancing for several months elsewhere. You will need to know the basics of belly dance technique, including: figure 8s, flicks, drops, camels and shimmies. Intermediate classes provide more challenging movement combinations and choreographies. Get ready to move those hips to faster rhythms!

PRIVATE LESSONS

One-on-one belly dancing lessons are personalized. At your own pace, learn how to improve your belly dancing technique or polish your belly dancing performance. Contact Lauren to discuss lesson options.

 

WHAT TO BRING & WEAR

Intermediate level students learning a spectacular belly dance veil choreography.

Wear something comfortable and not too restricting. A flowing skirt or comfortable pants is recommended. A fitted top will allow you to see the movements of your stomach and hips to ensure you are doing the moves correctly. No shoes are required, as you will be dancing barefoot. Also, remember to bring along your water bottle.
